There are a few types of bindings you can use while splitboarding. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages in the end, it’s a personal preference that is offten determined by the type and style of riding you will be doing as well as the conditions you will be riding in. Bindings are usually directly related to the types of boots.
Regular Snowboard Bindings
Voile is the industry leader as far as splitboard hardware. Most companies use their splitboard interface as well as binding hardware. With their hardware you can basically use any brand snowboard bindings and bolt them to your splitboard. This is the option I took as I already had a decent pair of Burton Cartel bindings and wanted to use them for my splitboard. They bolted right on and work great. The only Con that I have noticed while using my set up is they sit higher than a splitboard specific bindings would. The biggest Pro is you already have them and can save some money since the splitboard specific bindings seem to be priced fairly high.
Splitboard Specific Bindings
Voile, Karakoram and Spark R&D are a few splitboard binding companies just to name a few. They range anywhere from $300 to a whopping $800! Seems a bit steep to me but they are made of high quality materials and a lot of these companies were started just years ago and are run by just a few core splitboarders here in the USA.

Hard Boot Bindings
I personally have never met someone that has used hard boots for splitboarding so needless to say it’s not the main option for most splitters. Skiers do it all day long of course but I have never met a splitboarder. Although a quick search and I could only find one company that offered hard boot bindings for splitboarding. Phantom Splitboard bindings is the name of the company and the bindings retail between $450-$550.
